What chip shop?

Question

Where in London can you find a real Fish and Chip shop where i can get REAL BRITISH TRADITIONAL FISH, CHIPS AND MUSHY PEAS. Not your rubbish french fries or your American McDonalds rubbish, but your real chips.

Harry Ramsden's, at the Regent Palace Hotel on Sherwood Street, near Piccadilly Circus. Head north from Piccadilly Circus. About 10 minutes walk.

My favourite is in Blackpool - The SeaFarers'.

There is an excellent one on Great Suffolk Street, SE1, afraid I can't remember what it's called, but the food is perfect

Definately Georges fish bar on Portobello Road w 10,has been voted the best in London

There is a rather nice one on Cleveland Street (Warren Street tube, by the BT Tower), my personal fave is not far from that, on Tottenham Street (Goodge Street tube) although I don't think they do the mushy peas. Whatever you do, stay away from the black one opposite the British Museum (Great Russell Street) - DISGUSTING!!! Soggy, tasteless, and twice the price.

My personal favourite aside from the one right near my house is over on Endell Street, just to the north of Covent Garden.
