What church should I go to?

Question

I grew up in the United church but haven't attended in about 14 years.Can I go to any church I want? And what's a good one to go to for a 27 year old Mom looking to connect with her spiritual side?

Try one of the Eastern Orthodox Churches.  Antiochian or Greek are pretty good except the Greeks ( I'm Greek) can be a bit xenophobic wheras the Antiochian Orthodox Church is more "international" or universal.

The Orthodox Church has preserved the faith since the time of Jesus and centers around Jesus and His Holy Word.

I don't think you should go to any church.  It's a complete waste of time and brainwashes your mind.

I would recommend any baptist church.

Try the Orthodox church. Orthodox is the historical church started by the Apostles. The first church. It is still celebrating Christ as it was done since the beginning. I saw a chalice that was dated 500ad and engraved on it were the same words used in communion today. Some say Roman Catholic was the first church but it was not. There was a schism and the romans left the Orthodox church and created the Roman Catholic church.

A church is more likely to suck any spirituality out of you, and in its place put a bunch of rules and regulations.

Just depends if you want yer old traditional Pentecostal or yer strict Catholic.

If you want ot hear about the spiritual, you might want to visit the Unitarian or Unity church. If you want to learn about the Jewish religion, then go to a temple. Muslim, go to a Mosque.

Go to them all and learn which one you like.

The best church for anyone to go to is a church that preaches the bible-not just certain parts of it-the full gospel. They should believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God died for our sins yet arose again and sits at the right hand of the Father (God). They should teach/preach the full gospel of the bible.

Usually any church will accept new members. You can just show up.
