  1. While I disagree with cc about pikes being "unaggressive" I do like to watch them in action! I'd say a jack dempsey would do alright, maybe a green terror(if it can hold its weight). A texas cichlid might work if you get a small enough one, they get very pretty too! I've seen oscars in some pretty aggressive tanks before! They've held their own with alot of south and central american cichlids.

  2. get a young green terror or jack dempsey.

  3. idk other fish taht gets big too, cuz one he gets bigger he'll eat w/e fits in his mouth

  4. You will need tankmates that are not highly aggressive, and will grow large enough not to be eaten. Some good tank mates for them are CA cichlids like convicts, firemouth, severum, jade eyed cichlids, chocolate cichlids, pikes. Frontosas, silver dollars, tin foil barbs, synodontis catfish, plecos, etc are also good fish for them. You will probably not want to go with larger fish like frontosas in a tank that size. The barbs, silver dollar and synodontis prefer to be in schools. I would say the best thing to do is get about 1 or 2 more fish with the oscars in a tank that size, like the severum, chocolate cichlid, jade cichlids.

  5. he is small right now and a little to small to put with any african cichlid as they will teach him what being aggresive is all about I think I would get a few more oscars even though I will have to take some back and see id I could come up with a pair
