You must match brand name to panel or you void warranty

If there is a fire your homeowners insurance  will not pay. They will claim willful negligence. It gets viewed the same as if you took apart your tv tried to put it  together with parts for a microwave then later the tv caught fire.

Even if the breaker was not the cause of the fire the insurance company will use it as an excuse to not pay

The inside cover of the panel lists the breaker allowed in the inclosure
