What cities SHOULD get an MLS franchise and aren't in the running?

This question is in French Football to protest the lack of an MLS section.

Phoenix, Albuquerque , El Paso, San Diego, San Antonio

I think the MLS should highly consider growing the sport in the southwest due to its demographics.   Some of these cities don’t have much to cheer for in regards to professional sports.  Also selecting these cities will create rivalries that are within a decent travel distance (this is something that soccer is missing in the USA, I‘ve been to Europe and visiting fans play just as big of a role).

since the old earthquakes-galaxy rivalry is not as strong as it used to be now i would propose San Fransisco to get one to create a rivalry with the san jose earthquakes and hope it becomes an intense derby like Chivas USA and the Galaxy are.

Speaking of Chivas USA, i would like it if they moved out of LA and into San Diego (which is not a too drastic of a move for current fans) where there is also a immense population of latino chivas fans

If I may, let me say I think new franchises should go to EXISTING MLS cities to create intracity derbies.Give the next few teams to New York, Chicago, Oakland, Toronto.  

s***w St. Louis, s***w Portland. They can watch MLS on TV.

Here in Los Angeles, the only REALLY exciting games are the derbies between the LA Galaxy and Chivas LA....

MLS needs more games like that. MLS tries to portray some current rivalries as derbies, like RSL-Colorado. But the attempts are just sad and embarrassing (no matter how breathlessly Max Bretos raves).

Otherwise ... Phoenix? But it'd be all night games and maybe still too hot. Ditto Las Vegas.

San Diego. Sacramento. Montreal. San Antonio.

Definately San Antonio, also Miami,Phoenix, Las Vegas. Maybe somewhere in South Carolina, their colleges excel at soccer (football, calcio,etc.).

I think the next 2 should be montreal and phoenix.I know they would be successful without a doubt.I hope the MLS is smart enough to realize this.
