Memphis , Tn is the best around here where I live. It's about 90 minutes away from my town. I have tried it and it is real good. When they had there Memphis in May several years ago, that's when I tried it. It is sooo good. It has a little bit of spice and heat with it.

Well ~ I'm not a burger-eatin' person and have a few favourite bbq places on my list and agree the Salt l**k in the Texas hill country is, really, good but, so is Cooper's.  Texas is the best but don't be surprised if NYC becomes second best in USA by 2010.

New Braunfels, TX has great bbq at Salt l**k Barbeque house! Everybody in South and Central Texas know about this place and love it! It's in the middle of nowhere but people make the drive out there because it is just that good!

I also like San Antonio's Rudy's Barbeque. Yum!

Texas has great barbeque. Just about any city you hit up in Texas will have some great barbeque. It's one of those things that Texas just knows how to do well.
