I have lived in Halifax, NS for the past 2 years and a half and the job oppertunities aren't great, esp. since I am an immigrant. I must say it is a great and beautiful city with friendly people but we had a hard time with job oppertunities and would like to move, so far Ottawa is on our list. We have 2 kids under 5, so we also want somewhere that is family oriented.

  1. i live in toronto, and there are so many immigrants here...so there must be lots of opportunities! lol

canada's largest city; very multicultural...you have communtiies such as little italy, little portugal, china town, etc. a bit of everything

great schools, lots of them around.

As someone mentioned, vancouver might also be good because of the oplympics....but once those are over, you might not have much left. But vancouver is great as well!
