  1. These are both expensive cities. In the 1990s Tokyo was more expensive than London, but these days I think it's London that is a little pricier. So you'll need cash.

If you are going soon, don't do Tokyo. August is the most hot and humid month of the year it is totally unpleasant to be outside.

London is much more tourist-friendly whereas Tokyo can be difficult to decipher.

  2. Go to Tokyo, because it's another part of the world you'll discover many interesting things. London can wait

  3. It depends where you're from, but if you're from a westernised, English speaking country go to Tokyo - it'll blow your mind. It is so different, and it's exciting and challenging to be in a country that doesn't speak English. I've found that learning how to say hello, please and thank you in the native language goes a long way though!

  4. Depending on the budget, London is affordable for long stay and Tokyo for a short trip as it is quite expensive. Both places you will equally enjoy, for different reasons though.

  6. I have been on all the places you have said  but most of them are packed wifh tourist. If i where you i would go to the philippines. vist manila or cebu or something!!

  7. I would go to london because I could speak english but not japanese.

-but really thats a small matter. Go where you REALLY want to go, and for whatever reason.
