well endotherms have a high metabolic rate and generate heat ot maintain body temperatures and vertebrates have spinal cords/backbones so i would say humans are a prime example.

In relation to part of your question, did you mean class of vertebrates? You must be careful with orgamisn identification and classification. There is a hierarchical system that defines particular animals. Take a leopard as an example of this - it is in the kingdom of the Animalia in the division of Chordata in the CLASS of Mammalia in the order of Carnivora in the family of Felidae in the genus of the Panthera with the species name Panthera pardus (which is a latin binomal of course).

So to answer your question i would argue that the class of vertebrates that are endotherms would be the class of Mammalia.

However if it is infact species names you are looking for i would say one example is the human - species name Homo sapiens, and for your interest this means "thinking man"
