Math 1050 College Algebra, or Math 1030 Quantitative Literacy?

What's Quantitative Literacy?  You learn the difference between "pint" and "quart"?  Sounds like it. Give me a break!  

Don't choose your courses by what's easiest.  Choose by which gives you the knowledge you actually need.  Everybody should take College Algebra at least.

Hmm?  Well, I'm not sure what Quantitative Literacy would entail, but it doesn't sound too easy :)  I am going to say College Algebra, but that's just me.  Really it will depend on you.  Are you good at math?  If you're good at math and you like it, maybe Quantitative Literacy would be right for you.  Did you take Algebra 1 and 2 in high school?  Did you do well?  If you answer yes to both of those questions, then I'd do College Algebra because it's not much harder than Algebra 2 was/is.

I just took College Algebra over the Summer and it was pretty easy. However, I'm not quite sure of the other class you brought up. I guess I would go for college algebra though. Try checking your college catalog, you can usually find it on your school's website and they often books outlining the course description for any class offered. You can get as many opinion as you like but only you can dicide whats right for you :)
