  1. i have taken both and i suggest sociology believe it or not psych has A Lot of science in it and  it can be very confusing also sociology is interesting becuase it explains ur behaviors

  2. You may have to take both depending on how many electives you need; the entry psychology course was on the dull side, and involved much more bookwork and independent conclusion to achieve an A.

  3. i prefer psychology by far! it gives you answers as to why you feel this way... why you behaved in that manner.... why you verbally agreed with what that person was saying, when inside you secretly disagreed. its fascinating! ill give you some notes to read:

Psychology is the systematic study of thoughts, feelings and behavior and factors that influence them.

Behavior is any observable action made by a living person or animal.

Group Polarisation is the tendency of an individual group member, following group discussion to shift their initially held views to a more extreme position in the same general direction.

Groupthink is a way of thinking by individual members of a group characterised by an excessive tendency to consensus (agreement), thereby overriding any realisitic consideration of potential alternative, better courses of action.

    hope this information helps you!

  4. sociology, because its usually a requirement, but then again so is psychology, if i have to choose between one or the other i would pick sociology

Also depends on what you plan on majoring in

  5. I like sociology... its just more fun for me, but i suppose there's more jobs with psycology

  6. I think you should take a psychology class so you can become a shrink. There are two reasons for this.

    1. Good psycho helpers can make up to like 200$ an hour.

    2. There are a lot of crazy people out there who need to talk about there feelings to some complete strangers who have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

    So yea.

  7. Sociology. Because people are intresting.

  8. Actually, there's very little difference between the two at the introductory level. Sociology, of course, is the study of groups of people. It's pretty much the softest science there is, and as a result it's quite an easy subject. On the other hand, psychology at the introductory level is often a bit dull, and often it takes some time before your get to the "good stuff." Personally, I found sociology fun and easy, and psychology very dry.
