  1. Weirdly, you will get most useful knowledge outside of school.

You should just focus on getting as good a grade as possible in each of your classes. Make sure you get enough math, because finance is all based on math, and the more math you know, the further you'll understand it.

Psychology, sociology... those kinds of classes will help you understand consumer behavior (sort of). OK, mostly they'll help you understand the crazy systems you have to deal with at work!

Languages are always very helpful. It's better to get particularly good at one language than try to do several.

History is important for when you deal with people from other places, and companies that have offices in many countries, but you will need to learn specific things as you go through the rest of your schooling, so this is just a groundwork.

Most important is keeping up on current events. You should pay attention to the world around you. Practice keeping up on what's going on at school. Be sure you know what's going on in the news, not only in the US but abroad. Don't worry too much about specific companies right now, unless you find a certain industry interesting.

Finally, you should join clubs or even start one if you have an idea. It's very important to understand how to work in teams. Not how to boss people around! How to make sure you can be effective. If you have a chance to read or learn about Project Management, you should take it.
