  1. You want to chop people open and take out their vital organs? OK, No Problem.

    1. take all AP science courses in high school. Get 5's on the AP tests.

    2. go to a top 50 university. Major in chem or bio, get A's in chem, organic chem, physics, bio and biochem. Get a 3.9 in all your science courses and a 3.8 overall. Get at least a 30 on your MCATs. Graduate with honors.

    3. Get into med school (for details about all US med schools, check the website of the AAMC - that is the official site for info on accredited US schools) . Four years in med school.

    4. finish your MD degree, get accepted into a surgical residency.

    5. five years later start raking in the big $$$ as a surgeon.

    Piece of cake! :)

  2. If you want to be a surgeon, you obviously have to go to Medical School.  In high school, take advance courses in biology, chemistry, physics, and math.  In college, you will have to have a pre-med major, such as biology, chemistry, etc.  You will have to take the MCAT and get a good score in order to get into medical school (however, that's just one part of getting into med school).
