  1. you get an MD degree in medical school not in college

Then you have to do residency usually 4 years in Pyschiatry to become a psychiatrist.

In college, you will need to take the courses that will get you in medical school , If you want to pursue psychiatry , it will help to take courses in psychology.

    Good Luck

  2. You need first of all to get an undergraduate science degree with lots of biology and chemistry. Take psychology courses as electives as part of your BSc. Then you apply to medical school and study to be a doctor. Psychiatry will be a speciality within that.

  3. here are some search results.Good Luck.

  4. you get an MD in medicine only, not in psychiatry. MD is just a general degree---a doctor of medicine. you then can do a residency in psychiatry or other specialty.  you have to take college courses that are prerequisites for medical school and then be accepted to medical school, complete that, then do a residency in psychiatry.

To find out the prerequisites you can look at any medical schools website that you might apply to, there are some minor differences but most are the same (biology, chemistry etc).  Take those classes and do well in them (make A's) in order to maximize your chance at getting into medical school, its very competitive.  but really, don't become a doctor, it kind of sucks.
