What classical and electric guitar strings would you recommend?

Hi I'm just looking to replace the stings on both my classical guitar and my electric and i don't really have a clue about strings so i was just after your opinion on what my best options are.

I'm looking for a warm, clean sound with both sets (i more of a jazz player than a heavy rocker) and a good level of resonance, especially with the set of classical strings. Also for the electric guitar i do quite a lot of bending and hammer ons so correct me if I'm wrong but are high tension strings are out of the question there?

I don't mind paying for quality but nothing ridiculous so i was wondering what you would recommend i buy.

thanks

  1. For the price Fender makes a very soft and durable classical guitar string.  I've always used Ernie Balls on my electrics.  Truth be known, there are not a lot of string manufacturers out there.  Many so called "string companies" buy their strings from the same sources.  Don't be fooled by the packaging because for the most part thats all it is....
