I know if you're in the "popular" group you'll say "Oh, we never had cliques because we were all friends", but I'd like responses from the Nerds, Emos, Rejects etc.

  1. nahh. Popular kids had cliques. Like for instants the PIMP CLUB. thats the popular "clique at our school. consist of all the popular boys and no were not g*y.

  2. Well I'm in school right now....as a mater fact Im still 13. I'm considered apparently as a urban/prep/jock. I dress preppy, sometimes, sometimes urban, and sometimes jockish. I play like 5 sports, yet I'm pretty polite, but I'm not g*y, I like to chill and be black, since I am. But you know, people criticize people by the people they hang out with. like I'm laid back and I usually go with the flow, and people call me a jock and jocks arent that way there more arrogant and cocky. I'm also a straight A student but I'm like urban, and sometimes I am silent, yet I'm a prep.

But you know I dont get caught in that kinda stuff. Im in a clique, but it doesnt mean I care. It shouldnt make others care either. Its really no big deal. Just be glad you are yourself :)

  3. The smokers..the people that people were scared of lol

  4. i tend to hang out with skaters cause their more laid back and chilled.

but i liked alot of people, and i didn't really have a clique.

  5. Drama Geeks/Theatre-is-my-life kids :)  We had rehearsals everyday, so it wasn't an intentional clique so much as we were around each other all the time and friendships naturally formed.

i think that's how it was for most of our "cliques".

we really didn't have "popular" "nerds" "rejects" or whatever.  We had pretty distinct little groups, but it was like.. the band kids all hung together, the chorus kids, the football players, the kids trying to get into the top schools in the country, the ones who just wanted to get wasted on the weekends, etc etc.  I guess we might have people who considered themselves "popular", but the rest of us didn't care much about them one way or the other.

  6. We went though a phase of calling ourselves the rejects but then when i realised i could walk up to anyone and just start a conversation with them and was friendly with literally everyone i didnt know what i was lol

  7. Nerd is a very strong word. i like to call myself dexterous but i am also very popular in school- lets face it, with looks like mine it's very hard not to be. nobody penalizes me for being smart and beautiful. so you can say i'm in the popular yet smart crowd--- actually i kind of fit in everywhere.

  8. I think it is dismissive to say that only popular kids will tell you there were no cliques in their school.  I went to a very large high school in Illinois and the school was too big for specific defined cliques.  There were so many people no one had time to keep track of that nonsense.

When I was a sophomore my family moved out of state to WI and I attended a school that was K-12.  This school was too SMALL for cliques because all of the kids who went there (except for me, basically) had known each other all of their lives.

It is really dependant on the school.

  9. I have little friends and only two that truly are my friends. We soon found out that we all had something in common. We're smarter than most the kids we met at school, we are sadistic, very emo, spiteful, rejects, mischievous, see everyone else who is not of us three as sub-humans, and with a common goal to create the most evil biotechnology corporation on Earth in order to rule the world. We are the most hated people in school, yet at the same time the most envied. Some call us dorks, geeks, nerds, others call us sick, disgusting, the epitome of filth, but we bathe and feed upon their insults and indulge in them therefor provoking to hate us even more. Anyone who wishes to join our clique will be used as a mere tool and thrown away once their usefulness has rusted. In our clique, morality and ethics is for the weak, anything goes, and we act anyway we want no matter how much people look down upon us. Throughout our years in high school, we have never accepted anyone in our clique of three except for an idiot who gave us free food, money, and awesome video games and the occasional rape movies and then we excommunicated him after he no longer had a purpose to us.

Our favorite pastime? Sadistic psychological warfare. For example,

I'm a very impatient person. When some f*cks with me or my friends, I just can't to pay them back a trillion times more.....

It happens to me and my nerdy friends all the time. A pretty girl will try to flirt with me and my friends in order to get us to do their homework and classwork. You should come to my school to see the dirty tricks they do. The pretty girls in class would act like they like us and then once we complete our purpose, they would just ignore us and pretend like they never even know who we are. If we try to even say hi to them, they'll just get a football player to kick our a$$. Oh the agony.

Unfortunately for the girls who use us as mere tools don't realize that we "nerds" (my clique specifically) are not merely wielders of a bottomless pit of conventional knowledge. So one day, me and my friends decided to do a social experiment on a girl trying to flirt with us in order to get us to do her hw and classwork except it didn't work out well for her........We changed her life for the worse and now she is trying to get rid of one piece of blackmail after another. It was so fun so we decided upon a punishment for our next victim, and the next, and the next. Now we have 2 s*x slaves, a girl who tried to commit suicide, sent 3 more girls to the school therapist, a girl who eats her own f***s everyday, a lawsuit from a girl's parents for trauma, and me and my friends got sent to counseling........

But revenge is not our primary goal after the first victim, nor is it that we want free s*x. The fact that we can get pleasure from seeing a human being suffer so much pain is reason enough to continue our little game......

    so wanna join?

  10. I was the clever kid that got in to trouble all the time but got away with it coz i passed all the exams with flying colours

  11. when i was in school i was in a bunch of different groups!  when i was young up until the 6th grade i was a geek for sure, but it didn't bother me i just kept to myself alot and hung out with my best friend sarah.  but then the end of 6th grade i started talking to this girl and we clicked and became good friends and i started hanging out with her friends and then more and more.  once i graduated i hung with a bunch of clicks, my best friend sarah hated my other friends so id hang with her and her friends alot but then kelli hung with others so id hang with them and carrie was a prep and i hung with them alot.  i was just there.  I'm sure some people thought i was a geek and others didn't.  who knows.  i just know i had fun!

  12. haha we did say that but i knew that it wasn't true

  13. Well i would have said i wasnt in one. But when we reached 6th year we had several groups. There was the american rejects who called the boys we wer friends with the "flat oots" then we were called the barbie dolls! So i dont really know. Its so funny looking back on it now!

  14. I was a stoner honor student.

  15. I kinda floated between Loner, Joker, and semi-popular. I'm moving onto sixth form in the next couple of weeks, so it'll be interesting to see how much i've learnt about how to climb the social ladder at school.

  16. i was kind of like the person that got along with the majority but was never part of a group.

and the people that disliked me?

    HATED ME

    i was i supposed

    a bit of a reject.x

  17. Its like this in our school. There's three cliques

Popular: Party, smoke, drink, s*x, loud, sometimes obnoxious, but most of them are actually nice

Normal: don't party too often, sometimes smart, sensible, but not too social and more on the quiet side

Loser/Loners: sit alone at lunch, join together, talk about school, are either nerds, or dumb, or anti-social

I'm normal. I'm smart and chattery with my friends, but too quiet and I don't do bad stuff to be popular enough.

  18. haha

    pot heads

    LMAO

  19. the popular girls- year 7-8, the bitchy girls(being the tag along) year 8-10 then popular again for my last year

i was the arty kid that got along with everyone

  20. i don't think i'm in a clique cuz i'm just a normal kid who goes to school, learns, and then comes home.... i never joined a club or sport and i don't consider myself popular.... i guess if i had to pick i would be a "cool nerd"!

  21. I was a geek i always used to do my work. I sometimes used to have fun when the class messed about causing trouble.

  22. cool black kids

  23. Urm..Well we dont really have emos/nerds.

We have losers/rejects, copycats/wannabes, chavs, 'gangstas', cool/outgoing clever people, clever people and just normal people.

I guess im part of the cool/outgoing clever people / normal.

    :)

  24. I don't know if I was popular or not .. I just sorta' hung out with everybody, I pretty much got along with everyone. Except there were the occasional idiots who hated me even though I had no idea who they were! lol.  I'm like always talking to someone in class and the teachers always give me wierd looks and stuff and I talk to the teachers like they're my friends sometimes, but somehow I occasionally get away with it lol because I'm a good student. I've had principal's honor roll my whole life! Except occasionaly, I would get in trouble. lol

  25. A female jock? lol

I did a lot of athletics, swimming, softball etc...

Overall I was just average, I had my friends, I tried my best not to get involved with drama and avoided being branded as a stereotype.
