  1. It depends on your activities. I usually bring shorts, jeans and tees. I wear shorts most of the time, but I wear jeans (or other long pants) if it's cold or if I'm hiking in the woods with a lot of brush. Skirts and dresses don't usually go well with camping.

Just make sure you bring clothes for all weather (cool, hot, raining).

  2. All depends on the weather in that area go online and see what the eather will be like if its going to be warm bring tshirts and tank tops if its going to be cold were sweaters and long pants. I WOULD avoid wearing skirts because if u sit down on the picnic table and u ge them filthy it will be hard to clean up.

(DONT BRING ANY CLOTHES THAT U WILL GET MAD IF THEY GET DIRTY OR STAINED BECAUSE YOUR OUTSIDE AND ITS BOUND TO HAPPEN)

  3. Like the other answers say, a lot depends on where you are camping. I camp and hike in the high arid areas of Nevada. In that situation, I suggest jeans to protect the legs from brush and insects, t-shirt during the day and long sleeves for evening and night. During this time of year, the temperature can be in the high 90's during the day and drop to the mid or low 50's at night.

If you are going to be in a "beach" type of area take the shorts and swimsuit as well for longing near the water.

Don't forget the sunscreen! I also suggest some sort of hat or cap that will protect your eyes from harsh sunlight.

  4. depends wer your going camping.....certain places require different clothing

  5. The best thing to bring are layers of clothing. You want to be able to add more clothing when it rains or turns cold, and take off layers as it warms up. Depending on where you are camping, the weather can change dramatically from day to night. You want to bring sturdy clothes like jeans and sweats with a few warm weather clothes like tees and shorts.Skip the skirts and sweaters.

  6. Like all the others on here, the where you are camping is important. ha i'll assume you you're going hiking on regular day trip trails. i'd suggest

    wearing:

    a bandana or hat

    regular tee

    convertible pants

and a good pair of hiking boots

        i'd suggest packing:

    wool socks

    long underwear (top and bottoms)

    fleece sweater

    a beanie

and (if weather might be bad) a rain jacket

if its a real hiking trip where you have to carry everything out and back in (ie 3 day deep woods trip) pack light. there really is no need to bring more pants or sweaters than you need just bring 2 tees(max), 2 pair socks etc. wear what you wear in the first day. thats pretty much all you need. plus the cold gear you packed.

use sunscreen also. you'll be suprised how burnt up you can get.
