I'm what people call an "elongated pear", pear-shaped but tall and thin. What kind of clothes should I definitely NOT wear for my shape?

  1. Women that are said to be pear-shaped are larger around the bottom half of their body then the top half.  Which can mean finding flattering clothing somewhat difficult.

Stay away from tighly fitting clothing on your lower half such as skinny jeans, pencil skirts and tight dresses.

Choose styles that draw the eye away from your lower half by adding detailing to your top half

Flowing lines that are not too loose will work well as will wide leg trousers and jeans, detailed tops (especially ones with puff sleeves) and strapless dresses or tops that expose your shoulders.  As with apple shapes accesorise with some sparkly jewellery and maybe a shrug.  Don't forget to cheat with some figure shaping shapewear.

( i have quite big hips but skinny jeans really suit me so i guess even with all this info its all trial and error... or going shopping with a very honest friend!)

  2. skinny jeans.

They're created for women with no hips because it accentuates the hip area.  Since you are a pear (meaning you have big hips) I would stay away from them and go for a bootcut.  They'll be your most flattering.  Also try a nice wide leg and see how you like it.

  3. if your then you have no curves never where clothes with 90 degree angel prints like stripes or blocks...etc

  4. Personally i would say shorter shirts would be a no because they would draw attention to your hips which you are probably trying to avoid. Wear longer shirts, they will make you look long and lean.
