  1. I think the premiereship window is closing fast for the dogs, the saints and adelaide. I'm not sure what position the pies are in whther they believe they are a contender or in a rebuilding phase. The tigers have gotta show something this year. In terms of survival, everyone can shut their mouths cos north have got record membership so far and the fans hopefully will vote with their feet and attend the games. Melbourne are going nowhere both on and off the field and i don't see them doing much this year. Gotta get their act together

  2. probably the bottom 14 teams!

  3. St.Kilda

  4. Defiantly the Dee's.....

Had a poor pre season, no CEO

of the club at the moment and

    they cant win.....

  5. Kangaroos

Better get their act together or else their gone.

  6. St. Kilda and Fremantle - The lists are good and have promised so much over the past 2-3 seasons, they nee to play some good finals football

Melbourne - need to get out of the bottom 4

  7. I think if Freo don't step up & have a big year their fans will finally snap, and you will see some angry bogans at Subiaco.

For their long term survival, Dogs & Kangas need to be consistent. Also reckon this could be the Swans last crack at the top 4 for a while.

  8. Possibly St Kilda... can't keep getting "close" forever.

  9. The Dogs.

We had a really good season in 2006 and we just went downhill last year.

  10. It has to Adelaide. With expectations from most experts, Adelaide won't make the Top 8, this will add fuel to the fire and make the top 4. The Crows have to perform and with Andrew Mcleod, Simon Goodwin and Tyson Edwards retiring within the next 2 yrs, Adelaide are sure to give it all.

  11. St Kilda - Said to have one of the best lists of paper, keep proving us wrong on the field.

Western Bulldogs - Have a young team yet went backwards at an alarming rate last season.

Roos and Dees just to survive really, those 16k crowds at the G for Melbourne last season were a disgrace while we all know what troubles North are in.

  12. The Tigers need to get up there this year or their numbers will just keep dropping. The Roos too.

  13. Kangaroos, Tigers and Bulldogs

These teams really need a Top 8 position to ensure survival.

I really feel sorry for the long suffering Tigers supporters - I would have no incentive to buy a membership if I supported them!!

  14. mine in a way, the hawks, a lot is expected of my team, they have to live up to the hype,  also st.kilda, promise the world every year.

the pies too, if they fall back down this year then last season was a waste, good luck to all teams this year, its going to be great.

  15. St Kilda, Fremantle and Hawthorn

  16. Well I these are the teams that reallly need to make it into the top 8, just to prove that they can get there.

    Tigers

    Melbourne

    Nth Melbourne

    Essendon

    and Freo

I think if the dont show any signs of improvement, there will be h**l to pay with a big stick and players will be traded or dropped to the reserves.

Its a make or break for all these teams and this year has to be a good season.

  17. I think Max P has it nailed ...

Nth definitely has a make or break year after taking the stand to remain in Melbourne.... and I hope for their guts and determination that they succeed...

Now as a Dees supporter .. well anything can and will go wrong for us .. or then again we could ace it in once the REAL FOOTY season starts .. LOL a little like Melbourne's weather .. you never know how the day will be!!
