What clubs are included in a full set?

I have had some people give me a few free sets of golf clubs and a bag. I want to put a complete set together in my bag and would like to know what actually consittutes one full set of clubs, also, so that I may give the rest away.

Thank you.

  1. There is not "standard", but your set cannot contain more than 14 clubs (including the putter). Here's an example (with possible replacements)

    Driver

    3 - Wood

    5 - Wood

    3 -Iron (or Hybrid)

    4-9 Irons

    Pitching Wedge

    Sand Wedge

Lob Wedge (or Approach web between Pitching and Sand)

    Putter

Use the link below to look at the makeup of various complete sets.

I hope this helps! Have fun!

  2. it varies from company to company what they put in a "full set" but generally it includes the following: a driver, 3W,5W, 3-9 irons, pitching wedge and putter.  you can vary that and substitute clubs to taylor your leve of play like taking out the 3-4 irons and getting a 7W or hybrid to replace those.  As long as you have no more than 14 clubs you are good to go.

  3. Max is 14 clubs.

The must haves of most bags are

    A driver

    A fairway wood (3-wood)

    Iron set 3-Pitching wedge

    and a putter.

  4. sum are different but mostly its

    Driver

    3 Wood

    5 Wood

    4 iron

    5 iron

    6 iron

    7 iron

    8 iron

    9 iron

    Pitching Wedge

    Sand Wedge

    Gap Wedge

    60 degree Wedge

    Putter

    thats what mine looks like

some people take out the gap wedge or the 60 degree and put in a hybrid but i love the normal irons

but some people also cant hit and 3 iron or think they dont need a gap wedge but thats mostly what one looks like

    Hope i helped

    thats what mine looks like

  5. Club sets can vary, I will list a set of the common 14 clubs (14 is the maximum allowed.

    Driver or 1 Wood

    3 wood

    5 wood

    2 to 9 iron

    Pitching wedge

    Sand wedge

    Putter

You can make sets up with different clubs though, for example have a 5 and 7 wood instead of a 3 and 5.

Take away the 2 iron and put in another wedge, like gap, approach, or lob wedge.

I hope this has helped you.
