I have downloaded a couple of movies, but on windows media player there is no picture but sound. I have downloaded a couple codecs but it still dont work.

  1. Download GSpot from: http://gspot.headbands.com/

    Run it, and it will indicate what codecs are needed.


  2. Download the K-light codec pack.  It includes just about all the codecs you will need and should enable you to play the movies with windows media player; but, in case they don't, also included is a great little player that can play just about anything.

  3. your simply need to install vlc program it has all the codecs you need to watch your movies

  4. Eh, could be lots of things. Maybe you downloaded a newer .H264 rip, that'd be my guess. Whatever you need, it's probably in one of those codec packs. There's K-lite and CCCP, CCCP being my favorite. They bundle dozens of codecs that span pretty much every concievable format pirated and legal media alike might come in.
