  1. You mean what COLA

    coke is a cola

pepsi is a cola  not a COKE

  2. regular coke?

  3. They use soda syrup, which is basically concentrated soda without the carbonated water, literally a syrup. It comes in a 'soda keg'. This is pumped to the 'tap' and then mixed on the spot with carbonated water to dilute it. This is why it tastes different at different restaurants and bars, because some are more diluted than others. Also, not as 'full' blend of flavor, and you don't get any aluminum can, plastic bottle or glass bottle flavor either.

  4. we serve coke, fat and diet coke. it comes in a box and is just syrup it then gets mixed with soda and is attatched to a pump. its just the same i think but could be slightly stronger, we serve it in the old style coke glasses 3/4 full with ice and a slice of lemon for fat coke and lime for diet this helps it to stay cool and i guess adds to the flavour.

  5. They have the industry version, it doesn't come canned or bottled, the yare delivered in big vats and they are more syrup-y...if you like the sweeter syrup-y version boil up some coke in a pot, cool, refrigerate, then drink when cold...

  6. If you're having a problem with a bottled cola, don't buy a bottled one.  Go to the convience store and buy a fountain soda.  They are so much better and they are also mixed like the soda that you would get at a bar.  Hope this helps.

  7. There are two kinds of soda dispenser products, post-mix, and pre-mix. Pre-mix is used for high speed, large volume dispensing such as in a baseball stadium where thousands of glasses have to be filled every hour.

Bars use pre-mix, which means that they buy the syrup in containers that are connected to the dispenser, and the dispenser then mixes the syrup with carbonated water each time a glass if filled. The dispenser is set with the proportion of syrup to dispense for each kind of beverage dispensed.

What this means is that the pre-mix dispenser can give you a different proportion of syrup to soda than what you might buy already bottled or canned. Depending on the bar, they could be selling you either a stronger or a weaker mix of syrup and soda.
