    PS, they also won the Fiesta, Holiday, Citrus, Outback, Alamo, Aloha, and Liberty bowls.  All under Paterno

    1st Rose bowl win: 1929 beat Cal 8-7

    Orange:  1940 beat Mizzou 21-7

    Sugar:  1944 beat Tulsa 20-18

    Cotton:  1955 beat Arkansas 14-6
