Just to update my answer to address the confusion, according to the Rose Bowl, Oregon State and Michigan, the game is dated based on the year it is held in (my result above from 1/1/65), not the season it is the finale for (the UCLA result Alli =D gave).  Therefore officially, Michigan beat OSU in the 1965 Rose Bowl.
