i like the combo, too, but agree it needs another anchor colour. Canadian home and country magazine just did a layout featuring yellow and white with hits of black,. you can see it on the cover at

canadianhomeandcountry.com. yellow with lots of white accents is very fresh and clean looking,too.

i love yellow walls! my kitchen is yellow and black right now (soft yellow like in your pic). My guest bedroom is red yellow white and black.

Yes, I like the comforter from Ikea, it matches well, just add another accent color such as a quilt or pillows.
