Question:

What color Flowers go with Aqua Wedding Theme...Orange? Purple?

I'm doing an aqua theme on the beach, the ladies are wearing aqua dresses with no accent colours, guys in beige, white and aqua. I want to put flower pedals down the isle and I'm not sure what color would be best. Also don't know what color to make my bouquet. I saw this and though it was beautiful for the bridesmaids, but don't like it against the white backdrop of my dress. I'm thinking some vibrant purple, but can't find any pictures of ones I like. I hate white. Anyone have any other ideas?

  1. Believe it or not, chocolate brown. That's what my sister did hers in. When she first told me I thought it was going to be terrible together, but it was absolutely gorgeous!

  2. Pink

  3. My wedding is also on the beach and our colors are agua and fushia! I love it!

  4. Hi, I think a combination of Aqua, Orange, and chocolate flowers would be really nice for a beach theme... :)

  5. i like the first boquet of flowers, not the roses. For your boquet try using the color in your color scheme that hasn't been used much, that way you don't over-use or under-use and color

  6. I think the flower color is too "heavy" and too formal for a beach wedding.  How about white and yellow daisies, along with greens tied with the aqua ribbon.  It would be youthful and casual for a beach wedding.  You could carry a variety of Gerbera daisies.

  7. Little bit of light orqange. use lilies

  8. I think the two pictures you have of the two toned calla lillies and the roses are BEAUTIFUL! I think they would be just gorgeous against the aqua... Very beautiful for the bridesmaids!

Can you try just one color of the two toned flowers against your dress? Like just the orangey color or just the pinkish/reddish color?  You could put an aqua ribbon to hold your bouquet together if it looked ok.  I really like the first pic.. the green goes good with those colors too... In my opinion, if you don't like the two tone on your dress, try sticking to just one of the colors.  Good luck! It all sounds amazing!

  9. I think coral would be really pretty.  Or even a light purple might be nice too.

  10. It would be best to speak with your florist to assist you with colors; they are the experts. The flower petals that are dropped down the aisle,  will be a coordinating color. But not necessarily a color that's in your bouquet.
