  1. im not sure.. i think its 50/50

  2. Most have Dark Hair. Sometimes there are Russians who have blond hair either through genetic or dying hair color. However, if the blood is a 100% Russia, the person will usually have dark hair (either black or brown). Eyes is tricky because being Russian is Caucasians so they can have a whole range of color.

  3. black hair or dark and the eyes vary.

  4. well, I'm russian and i have a dirty blonde hair color and hazelish green eyes. usually though, most russians tend to have dark hair or my color but it's very "across the board" you can't really bring it down to one certain hair or eye color. kind of like in america where you can't really say that most americans tend to have ____color hair and eyes. It's the same thing in russia. I really depends on where the parents of the baby came from and what their parents looked like. sometimes genes get messed up and you end up with random colored hair or eyes. (like me) but mainly their hair is dark and eyes tend to be dark or hazel.

  5. Typically, dark hair-dark eyes.  Russia is huge though.. there are some very Anglo-Saxon looking Russians too - and some who look Asian.

  6. I suggest you consider adopting a pet rock. You can then paint on the eye/hair color that you want!

  7. Every combination. They are eastern European. They look like Americans, Canadians, Brits, French, and some are even Asian. They are gorgeous. My daughter has green eyes and dark blond hair.

eta: just once in your life s****, shut up. Just for that crack of yours, everyone is getting a thumbs up in here from me, except you.

  8. blonde hair blue eyes

  9. I hear that you can custom-order them to match yours.

  10. Does it matter, as long as they look like children?

  11. It actually is USUALLY dark brown or black hair, and hazel, green or brown eyes. But it all depends on their genes! Hope this helps.

  12. I think most Russians have whatever eye and hair color was passed onto them by their parents.

  13. Russians don't all look alike and have the same hair/eye color. lol!  Russia in in Eastern Europe and Western Asia.  Some Russians look more European/Slavic, some look more Asian.  Why are you asking this question in adoption?  If you are adopting and will only accept a child with a certain hair/eye color, I question your motivations for adoption.  Please do a lot of research about international adoption and the needs of children adopted internationally before you proceed.

  14. I'm a Russian girl with green eyes and blonde hair. My grandfather who came here from Russia had brown hair and brown eyes. It all depends on genetics.

  15. There is quite a diversity of appearance among Russians.

However, I would say that a unique and typical Russian combination will be an eye color between steel-gray, green and hazel ("bottle-glass" as my Mom calls it, it is actually very intense), and hair between dirty-blond and chestnut ("rusyi" in Russian).

I am wondering though why this question has appeared on the adoption board and not on a Russian board on yahoo answers.

  16. Brown hair and brown eyes.

  17. What an odd question, why would this be in the adoption section

Russian children have whichever hair or eye color is passed down through the genetic makeup of their ancestors, just the same as any other children of the world - it varies.

  18. Are you adopting a Russian child?  If not, why is this even here in the adoption section?

  19. depends on what their parents have.  it's called simple genetics.

  20. Okay, first of all, are we talking about ethnic Russians or "Russians" by nationality? Ethnic Russians are of European stock and tend to have medium to light brown or blond hair with blue, hazel or green eyes. Ethnic Russians do not typically have black hair.

There are a lot of minority groups in Russia. They are Russians only by nationality, not ethnicity. These ethnic groups are usually Turkic or Asian, and therefore usually have very dark eyes and hair.

  21. I don't know about most but I have a niece adopted from Russia and she has light brown hair and blue eyes.
