What color and style dress is best for me?

Question

I'm short, only 5 feet. I have very dark brown hair, dark-ish skin with an olive undertone (I'm Hispanic), and light blue eyes. My figure is sort of a mix of petite/slender and hourglass. The dress is for a Quinceañera so the only requirements are it has to be full length and poofy, and no dark colors. Any suggestions/ideas?

Is this your quinceañera, or someone else's? If it's yours, don't you have to wear some form of white? If not, look for something like an ice blue, a soft green, coral, turquoise, lavender, etc.

As for style, try going with something that has gathering at the waist. This allows a clean transition from the bodice to the "poofy" skirt, instead of closecloseclosepoof! (if you get what I mean).
