What color are opossums?

I say they're grey & my son says they're white. Who's right?

  1. The color we usually see is gray.  Various shades od gray.  There is also some seasonal variation as the fur is shed.  Some have white faces, particularly the nose.  Some have dark gray to black feet. Sometimes they have streaks or patches of black.  They ones that bring the highest price for their fur have what is called a blue gray color.  But, no not white.

    Very few mammals are white, not a good color to be for a small mammal.
