What color are yours and your husbands eyes, and did the baby end up with different?

My husband and I both have Hazel eyes, and I am wondering if we have a chance of our baby having the same or much different! My sister and her husband both have brown, but my nephew ended up with blue! We have a lot of blue in our families too... thought it was awesome though!

I have blue eyes and my husband has brown - our daughter has the bluest eyes I have ever seen.

Your baby could end up with Hazel or blue, who knows.

Mine are green, husband's are green. All of our parents have blue.

Our oldest son has crystal blue eyes, and our youngest has green eyes. Also I have dark brown hair, and my husband has medium brown hair. Our oldest is blond, almost white! and our youngest has strawberry blond hair. Go figure!

My boyfriend and I both have brown eyes and our daughter wound up with hazel eyes. hazel is the same color of his dad's eyes.

well both my parents have brown eyes, including my brother and sister which are older then me, n when i waz born i had blue eyes, which when i waz growin up,  i waz alwayz da diffrent lookin one haha, and my parents and my brother and sister are darker den me too, soo i came out bein da whiter one with blue eyes, hahaha

My eyes are hazel---with a little more green. My husbands are a blue/green. My oldest had was born with blue/gray eyes then he got the same eyes as my husband--depending on what color he was wearing but now at 3.5 years old they are GREEN. My youngest is 8 months and his eyes are still bluish. Darker on the outside but gets lighter as you get closer to the pupil.

EDIT: I just wanted to add that my brother-in-law and his ex both have brown eyes and their daughter has the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen.

I have brown and my boyfriend has blue eyes. And to begin with both of our kids had blue eyes then now they turned brown...I was sooo mad. I thought Id have 2 kids with blonde hair and blue eyes. Now they have blonde hair brown eyes! Blue is sooo pretty!

I have brown eyes, my husband has green eyes and both of my children have blue eyes. My husband's eyes didn't turn from blue to green until he was 3 and my daughter's eyes are slowly getting darker (she just turned 3 on Tuesday.) I'm sure hoping that her eyes turn green to match her red hair!! My son has red hair and I hope his eyes turn green too!!

my husband has hazel eyes I have brown eyes and my son got his hazel eyes, they started out grey but turned hazel and he is now 13 months and his eyes stayed hazel so you have a better chance that they will be hazel, good luck.

All babys start off with blue grey eyes, Blue eyes are the most dominant, Hazel im sorry to say is the least dominant, but if both you and your husband have hazel eyes theres a good chance your child will be the same.

he's hazel and Im blue, our baby has blue eyes, but shes 7.5 months, so they may still change.  my stepdaughter has blue eyes (her mom has brown)

Genetics is a tricky science, it is very possible for babies to favor their great-grandparents or even further a generation and not favor their parents at all!! But for us I have blue/grey, my husband green, and our daughter has blue.
