What color do you think?

I am most likely going to be getting a red roan mare and I was wondering what color saddle pad would look good with her? Thanks in ahead of time!!!

well theres alot of colors that could look very nice but go with some thing that just really looks spetacular

I have a red chestnut and I have shown him in royal blue.  The blanket is royal blue and black.  Looks awesome.

my friend has a red roan gelding,

and he looks really cute with a purple saddle blanket,

or if you're trying to look 'pro' for comps,

black and white are the best,

but have fun, change colours. ^-^

Used to own a Red Roan, mare:)  I put blue on her and loved it, then my girlfriend bought her and put a hunter green on her, and wow looked great:)

Well, that is all personal. I think black looks sharp on just about all colors. When it comes to my personal preference, the brighter the better. I'm all about the "hot" colors, pink, green, etc.

Like I said before, it's a personal preference.

i have always liked pink ones on red roans. but its up to you.

I prefer neutral colors like brown/black....nothing bright and bold, especially if you are thinking about showing her.

Try a hunter green or a royal blue... I think the darker colors nicely accent the red-ish. And if you really dont know if these'll work, then try taking a picture of the horse your going to buy and putting it next to the saddle pads to see how they match up...

I saw a girl with a red roan barrel racer and she was beautiful in purple. Hope I helped!

I to own a red roan mare, and bought her a hunter green pad that didnt wash out her color and brought out the red in her coat! If you do showing this color would look neat and clean and still a little flashy at the same time!

If the mare has black points, use a black pad; if not, use a white one, for competitions.  Any bright color that you like for otherwise.

Green is opposite on the color wheel, so it'll help the red roaning stand out while complementing it too!

It depend I had a red roan pony and he look awesome in a royal blue, but then my friend had a red roan mare and she completely didn't suit royal blue, she suited green and my pony didn't.

My advise. Just Try different colours till you find the right one!
