My guess is she will wear something that has a rose theme to it, in honor of the race.

The queen is, I believe, staying at Will Farish's Lane's End Farm as his guest during the Derby. Farish was US Ambassador to Britain and has hosted the Queen before. She may be cheering on Tiago, the surprise winner of the Santa Anita Derby and half-brother to Giacomo, because Farish stands Tiago's sire Pleasant Tap at Lane's End Farm. Lane's End Farm's colors are green and yellow, so maybe the Queen will wear those colors, with a small sprig of red roses on her hat in honor of the Derby.

My money is literally on a shade of green. She wore purple off the plane, pink at her first meeting and teal today. Leaves me with green or perhaps a yellow.

Why does this matter? I will be paying absolutely no attention to this, and neither will most people I know. The Queen is a person too- and her choice of a hat is strictly up to her. Who knows- she may not wear one at all !!!
