What color highlights should i get?

I have light brown hair and want to get my hair highlighted but i don't no what color would look good in my hair. My friend said i should get carmel blond highlights what do you think or suggest?

with light brown hair carmel blond or any shade of blond would look best as long as its not platinum blond.

a TINY bit lighter than your hair (so that it looks like sun streaks) and a little bit of gold or redish in it. so i would say your friend is right:D
