  1. Light red?

  2. I did my son's room in red and white, and used  Sherwin Willams 'Real Red', matched with a  Wings jersey I took to the store.  It looks very cool.  This was before one of the major DIY chains came out with their team colors paints, where you will probably pay a premium for the extra branding.....

Expect to put on several coats of the red, to get good coverage density.

  3. If you have a Red Wings jersey, t-shirt, memorabilia, a photo, or something like that, you can take it to a store like Home Depot or Lowes.  They have these color matching machines so they can get you the right color for your room.  If not, just bring your jersey or t-shirt, etc. and compare it to the premade colors they have.

I know Home Depot has an insanely large selection of paint colors.  So I recommend going there.

  4. Stanley Cup Champion Red! Ha ha ha!

  5. It's "Red."

I agree that you should take an official sweater or cap to your local Lowes or Home Depot and they will match the paint to it.

I have to agree that having the entire room painted red - even Red Wings' Red - would be a bit much. Maybe on one wall you could do white with the logo (easily done with an overhead projector - trace it - then fill in the red) or stripes all around with the logo on one wall. Keep your ceiling white unless you have a REALLY big room or a tray ceiling or lots of moulding or something like that. Look at some magazines in the supermarket - just browse, you don't have to buy one unless they have directions for exactly what you want to do. Above all - HAVE FUN!! It sounds neat!

Remember - you have to prime it first - even if it's a dark color going over a lighter color. They'll tint the primer for you so it's the best you can get for your red.

  6. go to Lowes. they got that team thing where you bring in the color and they can match any teams colors.

  7. Do you have a red wing jersey or T-shirt? If so, take it out, take the paint chips and compare.

  8. It's close to cherry red.

Take your jersey to the store and compare it to paint chips they have available.

  9. im doing this too my room too haha... im not using the actual color of the wings im using a slightly darker shade of red because it looks a lot nicer thn there color does on walls. especially if u hav a lot of wings memorabilia

    hope that helps

    GO WINGS!!!!

  10. Go to a hard wear store and bring a Wings jersey, or t-shirt, or hat or something and hold them up next to the paint chips at the store.

  11. Championship RED.

    Or

11 times Stanley cup Ruby red.

  12. =D look at a jeresy or hat (etc.) and then compare it to the paint chips and then go buy the paint and have fun redoing your room Red Wings style!

    Go Wings!!

oh btw, it would look even cooler if after you painted the walls that red then if you have baseboards or some sort of trim on the top or bottom of the wall you could paint that white.

  13. Go to Lowes Home Improvement and take a sample of the red wings colour and say "can you match this?" Chances are, they can.

  14. Home Depot has a catalog that you can pick up (free). It has all the NHL teams, NFL teams, some college teams ...etc. etc... but you can find the EXACT color there.

    EDIT: here's the http://www.mostcolorfulfan.com/teamfinde...

  15. True Red........but the answers that told you to take a jersey to Lowes or Home Depot is your best bet.
