What color paint should i use in my bedroom? I have lightbrown furniture.?

I wanted a purple color. But now I'm not sure it'll look right.

Can you give me some purple options and other color choices? I don't only want to settle with purple; I'm open to other colors too.

My desk is the same color, just about.

My carpet is a medium brown color. Kind of like tan.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think a deep purple like "quixiotic plum" (# 6265) would look great.

I think you can use whatever color you like the most.  If you have a comforter or curtains which you're going to use, you should pick a color to go with them.

i have the same color carpet and furniture! but paint your walls a light color like a turquiose or marigold and find beding with that color

I have got a few suggestions for your room.  If you like purple you may want to take a look at a color from Sherwin William's called "Solitude" #6535.  It is a light/medium shade of bluish lavender.  If you would like the wall color to be a little bit lighter, you could choose a color called "Violet Vignette" #7137.  Another option that you may be interested in would be a color called "Water Squirt" #7132.  This is a light aqua color.  All of these colors would coordinate great with your furniture and your carpet color.  So now it is up to you, to decide what you like the best and can see yourself spending time in.  Here's the web site to check out the color choices I picked for your room.  Good luck!!!
