What color paint would go well with sage green furniture in living room?

I am trying to paint my living room i have sage green furniture i am stumped about what color to paint the walls. If someone coould help me i would appreciate it!

I wish you'd included a little more information about your sage green furniture. I'm assuming you mean upholstered pieces. I'd like to know if the fabric/style is formal, contemporary, traditional, etc.

I like the idea of a chocolate brown accent wall, but I'd go cream for the other walls, instead of beige. Beige may look "muddy" with the sage green.

Another color that somone suggested is eggplant. I'd look for shades of plum or eggplant in a a muted, subdued tone. Maybe even in a "dusty" shade. I wouldn't go with a bright, bold color of purple. Look at paint swatches until you find just the right shade.

For accents, you could use a dark green along with your cream.

This is a color combo I love. My bedroom walls are sage green, the bed coverering is sage paisley with a little plum in it, and my furniture is painted creamy off-white. I have accents of purples and plums in art work and accessories. The purples and plums are scattered about the room in small doses - hatboxes on top of the armoire, a silk hydrangea flower, a floral lampshade, etc.

It's a soothing, calming and pretty look. I'm sure your living room will turn out well.

You could go safe and use a tan or light brown, but if you want to be bold I would suggest burnt orange or mustard yellow. Eggplant is pretty too.  You could just paint one wall a bold color and the rest a neutral shade--I love that look!

I have sage green furniture and carpet also, I have black curtians because I also have black and gold Chinese screens.  But as my accent colour I have a deep cranberry, it looks very nice and brightens up the room.

there is a shade of beige/tan (slight pinkish hue) that goes great with sage green.  Also a rich cream (hint of yellow) goes well.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think a lighter gray like "worsted wool" (# 7183) from their SandScapes faux finish collection might look good. And the sand texture would add another interesting element to the room.
