What color rubber bands should I get for my braces?

Question

I have to get braces in 2 weeks and I think the metal braces part I'm going to get silver, but I was wondering what color rubber bands should I get? I know not to get white or yellow and I hate black(except for Halloween) I'm thinking of hot pink and lime green or maybe light blue and pink. Probably pink and blue. I don't want to get bubblegum pink though because it looks stupid, so if you're suggesting pink colors, please tell me what kind of pink. I don't really like royal blue either, but I love aqua! Please answer ASAP!!Thanks!

Hot pink, and if you want to mix colors, do hot pink and black. If you put another bright color in, such as green or blue or orange, it will make it look too flashy and draw attention to them more than your face when people are talking to you. Or, if you'd rather aqua instead of hot pink, do aqua and black. Too much color causes too much distraction.

I think a purple [ not to light, and not to dark ] and an ocean colored blue. [ darker than aqua, lighter than teal. ]

uh i got pink, that was kinda cool. and you can always swap when you get your brace tightened or whatever.

but remember they dont have like MILLIONS of colours to choose from, and the colour fades anyway.

I have silver bands just because it blends right in with the rest of the brackets and looks pretty cool. I've been wearing them for a year and have never changed the color.

defiantly stay away from yellow or white and any other light colors like that it gets nasty when you eat pizza and stuff. as far as what you should get usually you can change the colors every time you go in which is like every 2 to 3 weeks

hmmm..how about a combination of the two..? baby pink and baby blue? for me, i think i'll go with baby blue or sky blue or even aqua blue..i think they go well with clothes but hey, its your braces so choose what you really like and what color you're comfortable with..^^

You should make sure that the dentist even has all of the specific colours you are looking for before you get too excited!
