Anything in the world, hun. Black is a neutral, and it goes with anything, and makes any color pop because it's the darkest color there is.

If you want your fiance to stand out at the wedding, maybe get him a vest that matches the bridesmaid's dresses, and have all the other guys wear a shirt and a neutral tie only.

But personally, I would put him in a tie that stands out rather than a vest. If your guys are wearing suits, I'm thinkin' you're going for the modern, fresh look (that's why we picked suits, anyway), and the way to continue that look is with a really nice tie in any color you want.

anything!  but I would stay away from earth tones personally. go with a outrageous pattern on the vest and the do a complementary shirt and tie or an outrageous tie and match the shirt and vest

Since it's a suit you  probably want to be traditional.  Do you really want him to stand out or just stand out from his groomsmen?  I think he should wear the reverse of whatever the groomsmen are wearing and a different flower on his lapel.

For my wedding, my husband wore a black tuxedo with a white shirt and ivory vest and tie. My groomsmen wore black tuxedos, white shirt, black tie, black vest. It just made it look really elegant.

I always think that with a black suit it look nice to wear a black shirt and a bright colored tie. A black shirt and a bright yellow tie would look good.

what is the bridal party wearing? if you have more than one color his could coordinate but still be different from the other guys or just stick with black or white.

What are your colors? Black is neutral so any color works with it. You can have the groom's tie and bout be one color and those of the groomsmen be another color that fits with your decorating scheme.

Some men choose to wear black shirts while others wear white shirts. It's all personal preference really.

I love a guy in a black suit and vest with a black shirt and a red tie.  Or a red shirt and black tie, or really any shirt with color, it could be blue, or even purple... As long as it's not white.  Maybe try a deep green, shirt or vest... and a black tie.
