  1. I really think that bronze would be the best color to match that dress, plus it's something neutral enough that they could be used even after the ceremony. I actually wore that color for my friend's wedding, and we had dyed to match our shoes--and never wore them ever again!

  2. Silver or gold, definitely.

  3. Purple- it sounds weird but it's the opposite end of the color spectrum and works well.

    Or try cymbidium orchids

YOu could always go with whites and ivory

  4. silver would go wonderfuly and yes, this color would go with pink and brown.  You'll be fine!  In the end, it'll be BEAUTIFUL!

    Good luck!

  5. Do silver shoes. A metallic, in this case, will be like a neutral, especially if the girls are wearing silver or pearl jewelry. (If they're wearing gold jewelry, do gold shoes).

Keep your pink and brown and celadon. Not everything has to be matchy matchy matchy. Concentrate on the things you can control now - finding great shoes, getting everything else together. Your wedding is going to be beautiful. Take a deep breath. Don't worry.

  6. Hi Cheryl:

I totally agree with Suz123.  I would not go with pink and brown shoes with that dress.

I would go to Payless Shoes and get the dyeable shoes done exactly to the color of the dress.  To be honest, I don't even think the pink and brown shoes would look that good with the light Celadon dress.  I like the dyeable ones made to match, or just go with a black shoe.

As far as flowers....pinks and browns would match OK....or purple like the others have suggested!

  7. They will be fine, with lots of bright flowers in their bouquets to tie it all together.

    Go with a neutral/bone shoe -

  8. silver maybe?

  9. i would say the the pink ones would look real pretty and try to input the green and pink in the flowers it will tie it all together.i think it will look beautiful.im nto a big fan of the brown with it though.i think its so blah and the pink makes it more feminine and romantic.

  10. I went to the a wedding last month. The colors were Chocolate, Sage & hint of Peach. I never imagined any of these colors together...

    Gorgeous.,

  11. yes, it will look nice. the dress looks, like Heather Leigh said, almost sage, but i do think the shoes would match. do you have any pics of the shoes? (thats wat u mean by pink and brown, right) if you do, post them so we can have a better idea if they match or not.

congrats on finding a great guy, and i hope you love your wedding!

p.s. i just looked at what Butterfly wrote, so i went on microsoft word, and made three circles in those colors.... they were right! those colors are made for each other!

  12. I think sage goes better with pink.  Less so with brown.  I would skip the brown, and go with the pink, please.

My suggestion?  Go to Payless and buy some dyeable shoes.  Have them dyed to match the dress exactly.  I think that would look best.

I like Violet Pearl's idea of this:

    Very pretty!

  13. Celadon is a great color!  My colors are clover green, lavendar and white... Violet Pearl's choice of flowers is beautiful.  I love the combo.  Don't worry, it will work.

  14. The shoes can be gold, silver or brown.

  15. I really like the dress!  Pewter (dark silver/shinygrey) colored shoes would look nice...

  16. Is that kinda like a sage green? I really don't think pink or brown will go with them if it is. Sorry...

  17. OK, well I might be of some help here since from what I can see in your picture, that was pretty much the shade of green I used for my wedding.  Mine looked much lighter when I ordered them as well.  Will they go with brown? Absolutely.  Pink? Well it all depends on the shade of pink you are using. A bright/neon type pink will clash big time. Softer shades of true pink (not reddish-pink or burgundy-ish pink, those won't work), but a soft pink will look lovely. I would use both the brown and pink very sparingly and fill with creamy whites/ivory.  Have you actually purchased anything in pink and brown (if so, what exactly?) or are you just talking flowers. A good florist will totally make it all work.

Edited to add: My girls wore silver shoes and it looked great with the celadon.

  18. oh dear..... love , maybe its because the pic is a little fuzzy, but there is no way that goes with pink.... but it depends on the shade of brown..... don't worry, it's your day, not your bridesmaid's , they'll just have to get over it.

    congrats! (:

  19. well the pic isnt that clear, but I dont see how that color would be a problem with pink and brown. I think it will look nice.

  20. OK, so if Im understanding this correctly, the dress is the darker green and your other colors are pink and brown.  You are looking for suggestions on shoes, NOT saying that you have pink and brown shoes.  So, that said, first, yes, absolutely those colors go together.  Think of a flower - pink, green (leaves) and brown (earth), totally natural colors.  A metallic color like bronze or a muted gold would be nice.  Stick with a warm color.  Please don't do the dyables (personally, I didn't think people did that anymore, at least not since the early 90's).

  21. hmmm seems as though it would be slightly off matched but you could get away with it.

  22. I think that this color would go with pink and brown, its all a matter of coordinating. For example, having pink flowers with a brown ribbon wrapped around their stems or having a brown sash. Just think creatively!

As for shoes, I would try to keep it in the brown family. Like chocolate, gold, bronze or tan.

Hope that helps and good luck!
