What color should I dye my spikes?

My hair color is light brown, around the same color as Mikey Way's hair, before he dyed it black, and got laser eye surgery. That is my natural color, after weeks of getting my hair back from black, but I'm sick of having my hair back to it's natural hair color, after having it dyed so many times, I got used to it. I really want to dye the spikes in the back of my head...Do you guys have any suggestions onto which color I should dye them? Note that my bangs and the side of my head will stay light brown.

Personally, i think black would be a nice contrast, just for the tips.

I love purple, honestly. But I think blue would look cool. Also, you could do a "wave" effect, starting at the tips with blue and fading into a magenta. It's very pretty, but it's still edgy, and very few people ever bother to try it. 8) And it's not even that difficult to achieve if you sit and think about it for five seconds.
