I am painting my home which has frame-less, inset windows The house is approx. 10 years old, with single pane, inset windows. Should I paint the dry-walled, inset area (approx. 5" deep with windows measuring 4' x 6') the color of the wall, or white, like the aluminum window frame and wooden sill?

  1. white or cream

  2. either white or black. short and simple

  3. what color are the walls.... you could go with white or you can for impact go a shade or two lighter than the surrounding wall.... i personally like to go the shade or two lighter for more dramatic impact and tie everything together.
