Question:

What color should I paint my bedroom wall?

I'm planning to only paint one side of the wall but I'm having a hard time deciding on what color I should use. All of my furniture is black and we have a lot of red accents. I would prefer if we could find a color that would fit the stuff (black&red) that we have already so that we don't have to spend money on extras. Thanks!

  1. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

What would you think of painting the one wall "tricorn black" (# 6258)? I typically don't recommend it, but in your case it might look terrific.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  2. A cream or ivory would look good with your stuff but don't use white.  You should probably go with a lighter color so that your space doesn't feel small or cramped.

  3. i  thik baige would look really nice...like  ahhh i dont know exactly what the name of the color is called but thats how we did our bonus room, and it looks really good...

  4. Red would bring out the accents.

  5. White,

    plain and simple

  6. Gray/white goes with black and red. If you want a funky look, you could even do orange, but I think your best bet is white.
