The things I cant change are the stained glass windows which have alot of orange, the fireplace tile has alot of shades of green tile, my juke box is orange and I have oak woodwork/fireplace mantle in an arts and crafts home. I currently have red walls now and am ready for a change..lots of thanks

  1. Gold, Mustard, Forest Green, Olive, Terracotta even. That's just my opinion. You can visit behr.com or i think homedepot.com has some stuff to help.

  2. I have always thought the color selection that Ralph Lauren has at the Home Depot are really nice.  He has this one selection of paint that goes on to make the walls appear like they are leather or suede.  It is really neat-it's almost like a weathered or antiqued effect.  I would go with a beige or even a taupe color to let all your arts and crafts be on display and not the walls so much.

  3. You could try a gold that leans more to the green side than the yellow side.

"Green Tea" by Valspar (Lowe's) is a nice earthy greenish gold that might pick up on the other colors you mentioned nicely.
