ok, so right now my room is bright sky blue. i absolutly despise it because it looks like a little girl's room because there is also white furniture. I purchased 4 posters (i'm probably getting more), one is sweeney todd (mostly black, white, and red), one is pirates of the carribean (some red, lots of different colors), another is fight club, mostly black, and some pink, i also got a mcr poster which is black and white. I want to get some cheap frames for them, because I want my room to look neat and not messy and ugly. So i'm wondering what to paint the walls. I was going to paint one wall a dark pink color and the others white, but now i'm thinking that white would be the best color to bring out the posters, and I could have whatever bedspread I want. i used to think red would be good, but i changed my mind because red is sort of overpowering and I have a pretty blue lamp that would just look patriotic with red. What color should i paint my walls? inspiration pics?

  1. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think an off-white like "dollop of cream" (# 7120) might be the best choice for you.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
