  1. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think "dorian gray" (# 7017) would look very soft & relaxing.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  2. If you have a decorative piece for your bathroom that you like such as a picture or accessories, try to pick a color from one of those and that will match your tiles. this will help pull out the color of the decorative piece and become the inspiration of the room.

  3. peach or tones of that nature are soothing and easy to combine

  4. One of the colors in the sea shells.

  5. i say a soft blue, not a pastel, but something vlose to it, with tiles that go from white to blue

or blue tiles, like a true blue kinda blue

or.... how ol are you and boy or girl?

i know a lot of teen girls are doing zebra bathrooms when they have their own

    i like monkey ones.

    or any kinda animal

or find a nice shower curtain u absolutely love and go from there. like if it were red, then do the walls a neutral and have tiles in white and red, with red towles and other stuff.

  6. Good lord, you poor thing.

When I lived with my parents, the bathroom was a horrible striped wallpaper with teal accents everwhere (I hated it), so we painted the walls with a warm Toasted Coconut color from Walmart (we had another color at the house, so we mixed a tiny bit of it to make it a little warmer), replaced the toilet seat cover with a wooden one, painted the storage cabinet and mirror boarder white, and then mom and dad bought a shower curtain and other accessories with kokopelli players on them. the shower curtain etc has since changed, but the walls have stayed the same and the bathroom still feels really warm and homey.
