What color should i paint my room? i'm going for a beachy theme?

i want my room to be like a vacation bedroom on the beach. i want some color that is nice and bright

Look at some colors from the Carribean.  My cousin did this and used some really pretty blues and vibrant pinks.  Looks great!!!

I love the beach idea  Sand colors with a bit of turquoise and  some medium and dark peach pillows I have a mural on one wall to it is great. you will love it.here is a site that you will like and it is sooo hard to decide which one. and they are not hard to do at all.

my room as ocean and beach.  on 3 of my walls i put baby blue with white clouds and the 4th wall is an ocean mural.  on the baby blue walls i just used bright colors and some tan for sand in my furniture and decorations.

YAY!! i love this question. my room is beachy theme. i was like what color what decorations what this, what that lol but i finished it and its very cute! i painted my walls an aqua color (go to menards or home depot and there are so many to choose from) then i just bought a tan or light brown comforter and i found these pillows at target they are the color of my room (aqua and one is blue) and then i bought a huge picture of the shore of a beach looking onto the water. (once again go to bed, bath and beyond and they have tons to buy) and i just finished my room by adding little things like a shag rug the same color as my comforter and sea shells and many things like that! you can also buy HUGE pictures that you can stick on your wall the fit the whole wall! hope this helps!!!

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a pale green like "greening" (# 6448) would look very bright & refreshing & it would coordinate with whatever sunny yellow, ocean blue or sunset orange bedding that you might find.
