What color should i paint my room??

okay so im painting my room cause its pink and well yeah. thats why im painting it. i cant do the whole one color for every wall cause i dont have a lot of wall space and that would be wasting a lot of money. my room is on the second floor its got that roof ceiling type thing and a huge window that lets a lot of sunlight in. so now you sort of have a visual of my room. i want it to be something that ill like all the way up to when im 18. ps im 14 right now. so nothing im going to regret but i am a teenager all through these years so i dont know. but yeah. what color should i paint my room

That's quite a broad question.

But you have to think - what kind of theme do you want to have this room in? I have two rooms back home in the city, and right now I'm at my summerhouse. Here at my summerhouse, my room is light green, which makes it very peaceful. It's easy to fall asleep to cool colours like light green, light blue, they soothe you without you realizing it. In town, one of my rooms is hot pink, and the other one is orange. I sleep in the orange, which makes it sometimes a bit hard to sleep, as the colour is so bright. The walls look really really nice though when it's fall and all the leaves outside are orange, like my room. I would recommend a light colour.. like white(although might be considered as boring), light blue, light lilac, and light green.

and have some vintage wallpaper in black and white to make it look really cool

Make the 2 walls opposite each other pink. Then make the other 2 light orange or something light to bright up the room. you could put in some curtains as well to match the walls.

my rooms purple and i hate it soooo much im sooo tired of it and ive only had it 4 like 2 yrs u should paint ot lite yellow or light green pink gets reallllly boring after like a day

if your also going to redecorate.. maybe like if your into vintage you could do a peachy/cream color...it basically depends on what colors you like and how its decorated..just dont do all one color.. but i suggest doing colors that work well together..like blues and greens and whites can look really cool..like the lighter/ more pastel like colors. and if price is an issue...maybe try getting small cans of paint so you wont have as much left over..but just enough for touch ups down the road.
