  1. I would paint the walls to match that darkest turqoise color in the comforter.

  2. I would paint the walls like the darker turquoise stripe that has Roxy written on it. That would make your white furniture pop. If you wanted to, you could paint some scattered polka dots in the lighter turquoise and lime green on the wall where your headboard is.

I think I'd get sleek contemporary silver lamps with white shades and a green round shag area rug to tie in with the lime stripe in the comforter.

It will look fabulous!! : )

  3. any of the colors any your comfortorter, blue, light blue@ light tan brown,or brown have fun with it.

  4. I think this would be gorgeous !!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/homes/design/design...

if not that, i would definatly go with a chocolate brown color for the walls, which will actually make the room warmer. ur rug should be a cream color and basically any design (u cant go wrong with a cream colored rug!)

    happy designing :)

  5. i think like a grayish color would look best with the blues in the comforter and the hard wood floors. check out a locla paint stroe and compare paint samples with your comforter

  6. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a pale green like "apple slice" (# 7127) would look terrific with that bedspread.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

Here are some lamps that might look cool:

  7. Sky blue

  8. I love that comforter!! Here's what I think:

Walls: Sky blue, turquoise, any color thats in the comforter. Even just plain "white" would look good!!

Lamp: I would go for a Green, yellow, or even just plain "white" Try to find colors that go with the color of your wall. Ex. Blue walls + White lamp shade. (Blue and White go together) And, the reason I say "white: Is because I have blue walls (Sky blue) and a white lamp *shade* and white goes with pretty much every color.

Rug: I don't know of any patterns, unless you have one picked out. I would say, once again, colors that go with your walls. If you have dark wood flooring, yellow would be good. If you have light wood flooring, go for a darker color. Dark wood + bright color or Light wood + dark color.

Shades: I think the most common is white, don't get anything to fancy or that will be the first thing you see in your room. If you want that area fancied up. go for kinda common shades and fancy, unique curtains.

To put it all together, this is what I would choose:

Sky blue walls (Goes good with the comforter, furniture, and wood flooring.

Lamp: White. Again, goes good with anything and ^ (above)

Rug: Yellow. It brightens up your room, and goes good with blue and dark wood flooring.

    Shades: Common shades, fancy curtains.

Have fun with your room, and make sure it's what you really want, so you don't end up hating it in a few years. When I was about 7 (I'm 12 now) I painted my walls Pink and Purple. I kinda figured out that I wasn't a little kid anymore, and I am becoming a teenager now, that I want something that I would like in 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, grade ect. So, I have blue and green walls. I love it soo much!!

    Have fun!

  9. White with a hint of blue. Too much blue would be overwhelming. If your wood floors are dark, I'd suggest hemp colored rugs to warm and soften the room.
