  1. With this kind of decor, I would suggest that the color paint on the wall should be along the lines of Earth Tones, light browns, light gray's, something that will blend with the current decor and not be too loud or clash with the colors you already have in your furniture.

You don't want to give yourself a migrain everytime you walk into the room, so try the Earth Tone colors for the paint, they are soothing and comfortable to the naked eye.

  2. Go for a color out of the pear...like a yellow-ish green.  It would be different, but tie everything together.

  3. red with a gold shiny over-coat. this is what my mom did on one wall in her house & it looks amazing, the other walls are a tannish color. we have the country kind of house as well.

  4. I used a kind of khaki color to pull my dining room and living room together. It's neutral, warm and goes with just about everything

  5. i think maybe a brown will work nice but  i dont know about the samaller walls

  6. Try a cranberry red. Makes wall look elegant but will coordinate with your country theme.

  7. what ever suits you the most :)

  8. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think it would look terrific to do a color called "blood orange" (# 7154) from their SoftSuede collection. I also have a country/rustic decor in my home & I'm seriously considering this color.
