What color should i pick for my living room curtains?

My walls and carpet are beige. I have 2 couches. One is navy blue leather and the other is a plaid couch with navy, rust,beige,maroon? Any suggestions?

NO PRINTS, not with that plaid couch already in the room.

If you go with beige, navy, or maroon, you'll  get a little more contemporary feel.

If you go with the rust, you'll get a little warmer feeling.

If you go with the navy, it can be hard to get the same shade of navy as the solid couch, so be sure the solid couch isn't right next to the curtains if they don't match.

My suggestion would be to go with a color two or three shades darker than the beige walls are.

I'm going to suggest going with a solid panel in beige or ivory,with a border stripe in either the navy or the maroon for a clean modern look. or  go to  jcp.com and check out the spencer jacquard drapes in the navy stripe for a classic look and the supreme antique satin stripes in the jewel multi stripe for a more formal window.

You need a contrast against the beige walls, but not the navy. Go with a complimenting color picked up from the couch, possibly the rust and / or maroon print.

I always like to match my curtains to the walls for a seamless look, but that's a personal preference.  If you want you windows to stand out and be more of a focal point then choose the rust or maroon or navy. You might also consider a stripe.  Here are some that might work for you:

it all depends on the style that you like ,do you like Traditional or Modern? If you like traditional I would go with a sheer ,that is similar to the carpet colour and get navy  panels for the sides or even a valance on its own or to top the panels .
